The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) was passed in 2005 with the goal of making Ontario fully accessible by 2025. It sets out clear guidelines to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility across five key areas: customer service, information and communications, employment, transportation, and the design of public spaces. The act mandates both public and private sector organizations to create inclusive environments for individuals with disabilities.
Storm FC works to develop policies, practices, and training programs that promote accessibility, ensuring that individuals with physical, sensory, mental, or intellectual disabilities can actively participate in our programs.
