Orangeville Minor Soccer Club (Storm FC) – Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Policy

The aim of this policy is to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with respect, making the Orangeville Minor
Soccer Club (Storm FC) accessible and inclusive for all. Storm FC is dedicated to establishing standards and
values that apply at every level of play.

As a community organization, we are committed to confronting and eliminating discrimination based on gender,
sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnic origin, color, religion or belief, and ability or disability.
We encourage equal opportunities for all.

Storm FC officials and members are expected to treat everyone with fairness and respect, without discrimination.
We will not tolerate harassment, bullying, abuse, or victimization, which are all considered forms of discrimination
under this policy. This includes any sexual or racially based harassment, whether physical or verbal.
If any member or official experiences discrimination, we encourage them to report the incident to the club
immediately.

Storm FC is committed to equal treatment for all members and requires adherence to these policies, as well as
compliance with the Declaration of Expectations for Fairness in Sport (the London Declaration, 2001), the
Canadian Human Rights Act (1985), and the Employment Equity Act (1995), along with any amendments and new
legislation.
